This one-day workshop explores problematic and harmful sexualised behaviours in children and young people within the NSW context. Participants will examine normative sexual development, recognise when behaviours become concerning, and consider culturally informed, child-rights-based responses. The session also explores sibling sexual abuse, ethical practice, and the importance of coordinated interagency responses when supporting children, young people and their families.
The workshop is developed and delivered by sector leader Dr Mary Jo McVeigh OAM, a nationally recognised expert in child protection and trauma.
