About this event

NSW Department of Communities and Justice invites you to attend ‘Safeguarding Social Cohesion’, a free online workshop designed for people in community facing roles to support their communities through the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘Safeguarding Social Cohesion during COVID-19’ aims to strengthen participant understanding of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on communities. Participants will also learn from research on other crises, what has been helpful and what actions can be taken to support clients, communities and staff. The workshop also provides practical strategies for balancing large volumes of COVID-19 information, answering queries and providing clear timely information to communities.

This practical and interactive workshop will introduce new knowledge, build confidence, provide the opportunity to share and learn from one another and build a network of supportive contacts.
